BEAVERCREEK TOWNSHIP, Ohio – Six years after its founding, Fifty5 Rivers is marking its anniversary with its largest expansion to date: the introduction of Fifty5 Rivers Cafe, a new dine-in concept set to open this fall inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center.
The cafe will feature the company's signature handcrafted beverages alongside a variety of food offerings, all in a space designed to foster conversation and community. The announcement comes as the company reflects on a journey that has evolved from a simple cold brew discovery to a growing family of hospitality experiences across the Miami Valley.
Co-founders James and Lynne Mowery said the new venture is a natural extension of the company's mission to create meaningful connections. “When we founded Fifty5 Rivers six years ago, we set out with a simple vision: to create exceptional handcrafted beverages while building meaningful connections within our community,” they said in a statement. “Opening Fifty5 Rivers Cafe inside the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center is more than an expansion. It is the creation of a place where those connections can continue to grow.”
Fifty5 Rivers has grown steadily since its inception in 2020, expanding through manufacturing, grab-and-go service, mobile hospitality, and wholesale. Its operations currently include Fifty5 Rivers Cold Brew, the production facility in Fairborn; Conflooence by Fifty5 Rivers, a grab-and-go coffee shop within that facility; and the Fifty5 Rivers BARge, a premium mobile beverage service that caters to festivals, weddings, corporate events, and community gatherings. The new cafe represents the company's first dedicated dine-in hospitality concept, pairing its beverages with food and comfortable seating.
The choice of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce Business Success Center was deliberate, according to the Mowerys. The company's RIVER values—Reliability, Inspiration, Value, Education, and Respect—align closely with the Chamber's focus on entrepreneurship, collaboration, and economic growth. Wendy Rodgers, President and CEO of the Beavercreek Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the partnership. “Fifty5 Rivers embodies the innovative and community-focused spirit we envisioned becoming part of the Business Success Center,” she said. “Their commitment to quality, hospitality, education, and meaningful relationships aligns beautifully with our mission.”
Construction is currently underway, with the cafe expected to welcome patrons this fall. Additional details about the grand opening and operating hours will be announced in the coming months. The company emphasized that existing operations will continue to serve customers throughout the region.
The Fifty5 Rivers story began with a mountain biking trip in Virginia, where James Mowery first encountered cold brew coffee. That discovery sparked a passion that has since grown into a diverse business.
