The lineup included global names such as Antipodes, Ty Nant, Perlage, San Benedetto, Solán de Cabras, Saratoga, ROI, Kuohu, Borjomi, S.Pellegrino, Evian Sparkling, and Voss. Tasters assessed each water twice: first alone, then alongside food and wine. This two-stage methodology revealed each water's optimal culinary purpose, with Vellamo's ability to cleanse and reset the palate creating a significant gap between itself and competitors.
Vellamo, sourced from ancient glacial aquifers in Finland, impressed the panel with its smoothness and naturally high alkaline content, which cushions carbon dioxide for a creamy micro-bubble profile.
