GalleryDock Expands Website-Embedded Client Galleries to International Photographers

Photographers worldwide can now embed client galleries directly into their existing websites, following an international expansion by GalleryDock, the Hannover-based client gallery software provider. The feature, available from October 4, 2026, allows photographers to place a gallery within a compatible page on their own site using a supplied embed code.

The integration connects two essential parts of a photographer's online workflow: presenting a portfolio and delivering photographs after a shoot. By embedding galleries, photographers can keep clients on their own website throughout the review and selection process, rather than directing them to a separate platform. According to the company, a photographer can create a collection in GalleryDock and copy its embed code into a website page that accepts embedded content. Support depends on the website builder and its configuration.

"Photographers put care into every image they create. Delivering those images should reflect that same care, with client galleries that feel like a natural part of their own website," said Edmond Rätzel, founder of GalleryDock.

GalleryDock provides photo selection and image downloads within online client galleries. Password protection is available for collections intended for particular clients, helping photographers organize image delivery and give clients a dedicated place to review their photographs. For projects that include video, the platform also supports feedback tied to specific moments in a video, allowing filmmakers to connect client comments with the relevant part of a project.

A free account includes three galleries and 1 GB of storage, letting photographers try the gallery workflow before deciding whether they need additional capacity. The platform also offers an optional print shop for photographic print sales, with applicable shop fees separate from the free account allowance.

The international embedding release follows the launch of GalleryDock's English-language platform on September 24, 2026. The software is available in English and German. Photographers and filmmakers interested in the tool can find more information at GalleryDock.

The expansion matters because it gives international photographers greater control over their client experience, potentially reducing friction in the post-shoot workflow and strengthening their brand by keeping clients on their own website. As the platform extends its reach beyond its initial English-language launch, it positions itself as a competitor in the growing market for client gallery and delivery tools, offering features like password protection and video feedback that cater to both photographers and filmmakers.
