GetBlock Launches Comprehensive Crypto Faucets Dashboard for Web3 Developers

GetBlock, a prominent Web3 infrastructure innovator, has launched a new crypto faucets dashboard designed to support all mainstream Layer 1 (L1) and Layer 2 (L2) blockchains on the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This new development aims to provide a secure and user-friendly environment for developers to experiment with decentralized applications (dApps) without the risk of financial loss.

Effective immediately, the GetBlock faucets kit supports Ethereum Sepolia and Polygon Amoy testnets, along with Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, Scroll, Blast, Linea, and zkSync Sepolia testnets. These platforms offer developers the opportunity to test their smart contracts and dApps in a risk-free setting, as the testnet tokens used have no real-world value.

The new Sepolia and Amoy testnets are set to replace the older Ethereum Goerli and Polygon Mumbai testnets, providing a more advanced and secure environment for developers. To prevent abuse and ensure fair access, GetBlock has implemented certain limitations on its faucets. Users can claim up to 0.02 ETH daily for free, but must have at least 0.001 ETH in their wallet to begin using the faucets. This measure is designed to ensure that all developers can obtain test ETH promptly.

GetBlock’s cryptocurrency faucets are available free of charge to all registered users, regardless of their account tier. Users can sign up using an email, Google Account, or MetaMask wallet. Additionally, GetBlock offers both fiat and cryptocurrency payment options for its paid plans, pioneering the integration of Web3 authorization with fiat payments.

This initiative is part of GetBlock's broader efforts to support the global Web3 ecosystem. The company has previously released free-to-use explorers for Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, NEAR Network, and Harmony. These explorers allow users to navigate through blocks, transactions, accounts, and validators without needing to write code.

In May 2024, GetBlock also launched a Marketplace, a free service that indexes reliable and innovative services for Web3 users. Furthermore, the company offers free access to its blockchain nodes for accounts with up to 40,000 daily requests, making it an ideal option for developers working on prototypes or personal projects.
