Global K-Pop Audition 'Click the Star' Expands to 32 Countries, Launches New Girl Groups

The K-Pop industry is witnessing a major global expansion through 'Click the Star,' an international audition program organized by K-Pop Click in collaboration with the World K-Pop Center. This ambitious project, spanning 32 countries, has already made significant inroads in Peru and China, with plans to extend its reach across Asia, the Americas, Europe, Africa, and CIS countries.

The program's first season in Peru attracted 5,000 applicants, culminating in the formation of Bling One Peru, the world's first K-Pop girl group composed entirely of South American members. This groundbreaking development has not only opened up new markets for K-Pop in South America but has also inspired countless young aspirants in the region.

China's ongoing season has seen an overwhelming response, with 250,000 participants in local preliminaries. Seven members have been selected to form Bling One China, set to debut on a Korean music show in late November. This marks the second global K-Pop girl group unit under the Click the Star banner.

The project's scope extends beyond talent selection, aiming to foster K-Pop cultural exchanges in each participating country. Events such as random play dances, K-Pop exhibitions, and performances by local artists are planned to boost national engagement and establish K-Pop educational infrastructures globally.

Click the Star is leveraging blockchain technology for its voting system, ensuring transparency and fairness. Fans can vote using KPC, a cryptocurrency issued by K-Pop Click, which also provides access to premium content and a metaverse environment for fan interactions.

This global initiative represents a significant shift in the K-Pop industry, potentially reshaping how international talent is discovered and nurtured.
