Golden Cariboo's Inaugural Resource at Quesnelle Gold Project Outlines 1.2 Million Ounces Gold, Remains Open

Golden Cariboo Resources Ltd. (CSE: GCC) (OTC: GCCFF) (WKN: A402CQ) (FSE: 3TZ) has announced an inaugural independent Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) for its 100%-owned Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property, located approximately 4 kilometres northeast of Hixon in central British Columbia. The estimate, prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101, reports 10 million tonnes at 0.56 g/t gold equivalent (AuEq) for 178,000 ounces of gold in the Indicated category, plus 71 million tonnes at 0.44 g/t AuEq for 1.0 million ounces of gold in the Inferred category. The MRE has an effective date of September 26, 2026, and was prepared by Sue Bird, P.Eng., of Bird Resource Consulting Corp., an independent Qualified Person.

The resource is based on only 24 of the company's 30 drill holes, totaling less than 8,500 metres of drilling. The Halo deposit, which forms the basis of the estimate, occurs over a strike length of 1,150 metres and a width of about 420 metres, and remains open in all directions. The Main zone, along with four other parallel geophysical and geochemical targets with multi-kilometre potential, remains outside the current estimate, providing significant upside for future resource growth.

President and CEO Frank Callaghan called the estimate a tremendous achievement that validates the strength of the Halo discovery. He highlighted the project's excellent infrastructure, including year-round road access, proximity to a rail corridor, and nearby mining support services in Prince George and Quesnel, both about 45 minutes away. This positions the project to advance efficiently while maximizing local employment and economic benefits in the Cariboo region. Readers can view the full mineral resource table Table 1. Inaugural Mineral Resource Estimate for the Quesnelle Gold Quartz Mine Property at the Base Case cutoff - Effective Date September 26, 2026 and a long-section figure of the deposit Click to see the figure which is a long-section through the center of the deposit, looking SW at Az=235o. The figure plots the composited and block Au grades for both the Halo and North Hixon zones of the deposit. The resource pit is shown in black with.

The MRE uses a base-case cut-off grade of 0.15 g/t AuEq and an open pit constraint. Assumptions include a gold price of US$3,600 per ounce, silver at US$40 per ounce, metallurgical recoveries of 90% for gold and 50% for silver, and a foreign exchange rate of 0.72 US$/C$. Sensitivity to cut-off grade is illustrated in Table 2 is provided to illustrate the sensitivity of the estimate to cut-off grade. The base-case cut-off used for the Mineral Resource Statement is highlighted. Sensitivity cases do not constitute alternative Mineral Resource Statements.

However, several risks could affect development. The property is located within the traditional territory of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation, and permitting will require consultation. No metallurgical testing has been conducted, and a portion of the resource is Inferred, which has lower confidence. The company has not completed a preliminary economic assessment or feasibility study, and there is no guarantee that mineral resources will be converted to reserves. The estimate may also be materially affected by environmental, permitting, legal, title, taxation, socio-political, and marketing issues.

Golden Cariboo plans to use the MRE as a foundation for step-out and infill drilling to upgrade Inferred resources to Indicated, along with metallurgical testwork and environmental baseline studies. The technical report supporting the MRE will be filed on SEDAR+ within 45 days. The company's shares trade on the CSE under GCC. For more information, visit www.goldencariboo.com.
