Green Lantern Solar, an innovative and trusted renewable energy developer, has finalized the sale of two fully permitted community solar projects in Maine to Madison Energy Infrastructure. Each project boasts a capacity of 975 kilowatts (kW) AC and is currently under construction, with completion anticipated by 2024.
The Mechanic Falls solar project, located on 7.748 acres in Mechanic Falls, Maine, features a system size of 1504.2 kW DC and is expected to produce approximately 1,845,653 kilowatt hours (kWh) annually. Meanwhile, the Roosevelt Trail solar project in Windham, Maine, spans 11.24 acres and has a system size of 1684.8 kW DC, with an anticipated annual generation of 1,930,780 kWh.
