iToolShare Blu-ray Player Update Adds 3D Anaglyph and Full BD-J Menu Support

iToolShare, a developer of desktop multimedia solutions, announced a major upgrade to its Blu-ray Player for Windows on July 13, 2026. The update introduces a standalone 3D anaglyph playback engine and full support for HDMV and BD-J interactive menus, targeting home theater enthusiasts and physical media collectors.

The new engine allows standard integrated laptop graphics cards to output synchronized red-cyan 3D content without specialized external hardware. Combined with full BD-J menu navigation, users can access bonus features, commentary tracks, and multi-angle scenes directly from their desktops. The player also features hardware-accelerated playback for commercial Blu-rays, 4K Ultra HD discs, and ISO folders without manual configuration.

Key highlights include a 'Play Any Disc' architecture that handles encrypted discs and regional files, optimized HDR10+ to SDR color mapping for non-HDR displays, and re-engineered audio stability to resolve legacy conflicts. The update is designed for Windows 11 and Windows 10, including support for Windows on ARM ecosystems.

'Our engineering focus was to bridge the gap between complex legacy disc structures and modern desktop environments,' said Tim, Product Lead at iToolShare. 'By perfecting BD-J menu navigation and ensuring smooth performance across diverse system architectures, we've built a Blu-ray player app that truly honors the premium experience media collectors expect.'
