Kempinski Hotels Breaks Ground on Luxury Resort in Turks and Caicos

Kempinski Hotels, Europe's oldest luxury hotel group, together with international developer JTRE, celebrated the groundbreaking of Kempinski Grace Bay, an exclusive hotel and residential project along Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos. The late-afternoon ceremony featured attendance from The Honourable Charles Washington Misick, Premier of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and Her Excellency Anya Williams, Deputy Governor of the Turks and Caicos Islands, along with other senior government officials and project partners.

The development represents an important milestone for the Turks and Caicos Islands as global interest in the destination continues to grow. Premier Misick stated that this development marks a significant step in the islands' evolution as a world-class destination, offering investors and visitors the opportunity to experience local cultural heritage through the lens of luxury and impeccable service. The project brings Kempinski's 128-year legacy of European hospitality to the Turks and Caicos Islands for the first time.

Sitting across 11 acres of secluded shoreline, the development redefines coastal living through understated architecture and deep respect for natural surroundings. Barbara Muckermann, Group CEO of Kempinski Hotels, emphasized that the property will stand as a flagship within their portfolio, representing an enduring expression of their heritage and craftsmanship. The property's low-density design features 119 private residences and four oceanfront villas, all oriented toward panoramic sea views.
