Lifespan Edge, a next-generation longevity clinic co-founded by futurist John Mauldin and preventive medicine pioneer Dr. Michael Roizen, has announced the opening of two new locations in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Columbia, Maryland, with a third premier destination planned for Scottsdale, Arizona. The expansion underscores the company's mission to make personalized, evidence-based longevity care more accessible to a broader population.
Founded in 2024, Lifespan Edge aims to bridge cutting-edge longevity research with individualized clinical care. The new locations are designed to provide a concierge-style experience combining advanced diagnostics, physician-guided evaluations, and personalized strategies focused on prevention, performance, and healthy aging. The West Palm Beach clinic is located at 2528 Okeechobee Blvd., and the Columbia clinic is at 10700 Charter Drive, Suite 200.
“Healthcare should not begin when disease appears, it should begin decades earlier,” said Dr. Michael Roizen, Chair of the Board and Co-Founder of Lifespan Edge. “Our goal is to help people understand that many of the factors influencing how they age are modifiable. Through personalized care, informed lifestyle choices, and emerging scientific advances, we believe individuals can take greater control of their long-term health.”
The expansion reflects a growing consumer interest in proactive approaches to maintaining cognitive function, metabolic health, physical resilience, and overall vitality. Rather than focusing solely on treating disease after symptoms arise, Lifespan Edge emphasizes identifying risk factors early and creating individualized plans that support long-term wellness.
“We founded Lifespan Edge because we saw an opportunity to bring together leading physicians, science-driven medicine, and personalized care under one roof,” said John Mauldin, President and Co-Founder. “As longevity research continues to advance, we want our clinics to help translate that science into practical strategies that empower people to live healthier, more productive lives.”
Among the areas of scientific interest is Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), a medical procedure being investigated for potential applications related to aging and neurodegenerative disease. Notably, the AMBAR (Alzheimer Management by Albumin Replacement) clinical trial evaluated plasma exchange with albumin replacement in patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. Published findings reported that the intervention showed promise in slowing decline in certain cognitive and functional measures, though investigators emphasized the need for additional research.
Dr. Roizen has long advocated that biological age and chronological age are not always the same, emphasizing that lifestyle choices—including nutrition, physical activity, stress management, purpose, and social connection—can meaningfully influence long-term health. He believes prevention should remain the foundation of modern medicine.
The expansion comes amid national recognition for Lifespan Edge’s leadership. Dr. Roizen was recently featured in Entrepreneur and TopDoctor Magazine, where he discussed his vision for longevity science and the importance of empowering individuals to take an active role in their health.
With existing locations in Dallas, Texas, and Dorado, Puerto Rico, Lifespan Edge continues to expand its footprint, bringing science-driven longevity care to more communities seeking to invest in a healthier future.
