MAX Power Mining Secures $6 Million from Eric Sprott Warrant Exercise to Accelerate Natural Hydrogen Program

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has received $6,004,216.22 in proceeds from the exercise of 12,138,548 warrants by Eric Sprott, through 2176423 Ontario Ltd. The exercise, completed on Aug. 24, 2026, increases Sprott's beneficial ownership to 47,123,527 shares, representing approximately 24.35% of MAX Power's 193,505,888 issued and outstanding common shares. Sprott also holds an additional 16.5 million warrants.

CEO Ran Narayanasamy stated that the funds will further accelerate the company's commercial validation drill program at the Lawson Complex, where MAX Power is delineating its Natural Hydrogen system. This investment from a prominent investor like Eric Sprott underscores the growing interest in Natural Hydrogen as a potential clean energy source.

MAX Power also announced that President and Director Chad Levesque will present at the Clean Energy & Metals Virtual Investor Conference on Aug. 27 from 1:30-2 p.m. ET. The live online event will include an opportunity for investors to ask questions in real time, with an archived webcast available following the event.

The Lawson Discovery, located near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada's first-ever subsurface Natural Hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs. MAX Power has built dominant district-scale land positions across Saskatchewan with approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits covering prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of Natural Hydrogen.

In addition to its Natural Hydrogen projects, MAX Power holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, 100%-owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary.

The company's commitment to responsible exploration and development practices prioritizes environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance. This strategic investment from Eric Sprott provides MAX Power with the financial resources to advance its pioneering work in Natural Hydrogen, a sector with the potential to transform the energy landscape.
