Mobilicom Launches SwarmiX Secure Mesh Communications for Drone and Robotic Fleets

Mobilicom (NASDAQ: MOB), a provider of cybersecure solutions for drones and robotics, has launched SwarmiX, a new family of secure, high-throughput mesh communications solutions designed for data-intensive missions involving coordinated drone and robotic fleets. The announcement was made via NEWMEDIAWIRE on October 12, 2026. SwarmiX expands the company’s Secured Autonomy™ portfolio, offering throughput of up to 1 gigabit per second, scalable mesh networking designed to connect hundreds of nodes, and multi-band spectrum agility up to 7 GHz. The product family includes embedded modules for drones and robotics and ruggedized tactical units for military personnel, vehicles, and launch systems.

Designed to support communications in contested environments, SwarmiX also incorporates onboard computing capabilities intended to enable cybersecurity functions directly on the module. Mobilicom is introducing SwarmiX at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) 2026 Annual Meeting & Exposition, taking place Oct. 12-14 in Washington, D.C., where it will showcase the technology to defense leaders and industry decision-makers. The launch is significant for the defense and robotics sectors, as it addresses the growing need for secure, high-bandwidth communications in scenarios where multiple autonomous systems must operate together, such as surveillance, logistics, and combat missions. By enabling hundreds of nodes to connect in a mesh network, SwarmiX could enhance the coordination and resilience of drone swarms and robotic teams, potentially reducing reliance on vulnerable centralized communication links.

Mobilicom’s technology is already deployed globally with over 50 customers, including the world’s largest drone manufacturers, according to the company. The introduction of SwarmiX could strengthen Mobilicom’s position in the rapidly growing defense and commercial drones and robotics market. For investors, the launch may signal continued innovation and potential revenue growth, though forward-looking statements carry risks and uncertainties.
