Mullen Automotive (NASDAQ: MULN), an emerging electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has announced a significant expansion of its subsidiary Bollinger Motors' retail network. Affinity Truck Center, a well-established family-owned business with a 44-year history, has been added as an official Bollinger Motors dealer. This partnership marks a strategic move for Bollinger Motors to establish a strong presence in California's Central Valley, a key market for the automotive industry.

Affinity Truck Center, headquartered in the heart of California's Central Valley, operates sales locations in Bakersfield and Fresno, along with service locations in Paso Robles and Salinas. This extensive network provides Bollinger Motors with a substantial footprint in the region, potentially accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in an area crucial for transportation and logistics.

Jim Connelly, Chief Revenue Officer of Bollinger, emphasized the importance of this partnership, stating that it gives Bollinger Motors a strong foothold in the Central Valley. This expansion comes at a time when Mullen Automotive is making significant strides in the EV sector. The company recently began commercial vehicle production in Tunica, Mississippi, and received IRS approval for federal EV tax credits on its commercial vehicles. With both the Mullen ONE, a Class 1 EV cargo van, and Mullen THREE, a Class 3 EV cab chassis truck, now certified by the California Air Resource Board (CARB) and EPA, Mullen is poised to capitalize on the growing demand for electric commercial vehicles.
