The trial has been registered in the Pan African Clinical Trials Registry under identification number PACTR202608748555077, following local regulatory approval from ACOREP.

The company has confirmed that NV-387 has been delivered to the clinical trial site in Ituri province, with first patient dosing anticipated within one to two weeks, barring outbreak-related impediments. The adaptive trial will begin with a single-arm safety and dose run-in before progressing to a randomized, controlled, open-label efficacy evaluation.
