Nevada Organic Phosphate Kicks Off Step-Out Drilling at Murdock Mountain, Targeting 3-Kilometer Mineralized Trend

Nevada Organic Phosphate (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF; FSE: Z58) announced the commencement of drill hole MM26-11 at its Murdock Mountain Project in Nevada. The new hole is a step-out located 315 meters along strike from MM26-10, which previously intersected the Upper Phosphate Zone and extended the known strike of phosphate mineralization to more than three kilometers. The company said the latest drilling is designed to test mineralization continuity and refine geological understanding of the nearly flat-lying phosphate-bearing horizon within the Meade Peak Member of the Phosphoria Formation.

Operations experienced a brief equipment-related delay, and drilling is expected to resume this week following delivery of a replacement component. Analytical results will be released when available. The full press release can be viewed at https://ibn.fm/4MWkG.

NOP is a junior exploration company with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed that is 6.6 kilometers long in northeast Nevada. Additional applications extend the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometers. The company believes this is the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. It is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California.

The announcement matters because phosphate is a critical input for fertilizers and a range of industrial products, and domestic sources of organic phosphate are limited. If the step-out drilling confirms continuity of the mineralized horizon, it could significantly expand the project's potential resource footprint. That would strengthen NOP's position as a potential supplier to North American agricultural markets, which currently rely heavily on imported phosphate. For investors, the results of MM26-11 will be a key catalyst, as they will provide the first data on whether mineralization extends beyond the previously established three-kilometer strike.

The drilling also carries broader implications for the mining and resources sector. Successful step-out results could encourage further exploration in the region, which hosts the Phosphoria Formation, a known phosphate-bearing geological unit. As global demand for phosphate rises due to population growth and food security concerns, projects like Murdock Mountain could become strategically important. The company's progress will be closely watched by industry analysts and investors seeking exposure to critical minerals.
