The Nordex Group has received a new order from Swedish renewable energy company OX2 to supply and install 11 N175/6.X turbines for the Urleasca wind farm in Romania. The contract, totaling 77 MW, includes a 35-year Premium Service agreement, underscoring a long-term commitment to the project's operational efficiency.
In a parallel development, OX2 has sold the ready-to-build Urleasca wind farm to Scatec ASA, a Norwegian renewable energy solutions provider. OX2 will continue to oversee the construction phase, which is scheduled to commence in the third quarter of 2026, with commissioning expected in the second half of 2028. The wind farm holds a long-term Contract-for-Difference (CfD) with the Romanian State, providing revenue stability.
The project will be located near the village of Urleasca in Brăila County, approximately 150 kilometers northeast of Bucharest in southeastern Romania. This strategic location is poised to contribute significantly to Romania's renewable energy capacity.

This order further solidifies Nordex Group's position in Romania, where the company has contracted more than 500 MW in recent months. The Urleasca project adds to this momentum, showcasing the group's growing footprint in the region.
