Pangyo Techno Valley's Pan-Pan Day Fuels Global Expansion for Startups

Pangyo Techno Valley enhances global market entry for local startups through its monthly event, 'Pan-Pan Day.' Established in 2023, Pan-Pan Day has hosted 14 sessions, attracting around 80 venture capitalists (VCs) and approximately 200 startups. This initiative provides practical support to startups, including IR pitching, one-on-one consultations, networking, and seminars with industry experts.

Pan-Pan Day has been instrumental in fostering collaborations and securing investments. Notably, last June's event, in conjunction with G-Invest Day, led to a 200 million won investment contract between Platinum Technology and NexPot Solution. The August session, themed 'Open Innovation,' facilitated 18 follow-up meetings involving prominent companies such as Toss, Yanolja, Daewoong Pharmaceutical, Mastercard, Hoban Construction, and KT.

Upcoming Pan-Pan Day events from September to December will focus on content, ICT, SaaS, and manufacturing, respectively. Each session will feature seminars and networking opportunities tailored to these themes. September's event will collaborate with the Gyeonggi Startup Summit, offering programs designed to assist startups in their international expansion efforts, including meetings with foreign VCs and seminars.

A notable addition to September's Pan-Pan Day is a networking session between Estonian and Gyeonggi Province startups, providing insights into European market entry policies and networking opportunities. A participating startup representative emphasized the value of Pan-Pan Day in gaining practical solutions and strategic advice, even if a direct match with a VC was not achieved.

Pangyo Techno Valley, a global integrated R&D hub, continues to support the global expansion of startups through monthly events such as Pan-Pan Day. This initiative not only strengthens the connection between startups and investors but also contributes to national development by fostering technological innovation, job creation, and international business competitiveness.
