Phillips Law Firm has taken a significant step towards community involvement by sponsoring a local Somali youth soccer team, providing uniforms, field rentals, transportation for games, and team-building workshops for over 100 players aged 7 to 17. This initiative reflects the firm's dedication to supporting youth programs that encourage personal growth and leadership.
From June 26 to 29, the firm participated in a community event at a local high school, engaging with families, community leaders, and supporters through games, food, and resource sharing. The event also served as a platform for the firm to highlight available legal and support services, reinforcing its mission to assist beyond the courtroom.
The soccer program, introduced to the firm by a local medical provider, aims to empower Somali youth by fostering cultural pride, discipline, and community connection through sports. The firm's involvement is part of a broader effort to support organizations that strengthen Washington communities, including partnerships with Northwest Harvest and Operation Nightwatch, and participation in food drives and school supply collections.
