Poets&Quants has released its 11th annual Best & Brightest MBAs feature, showcasing 100 outstanding full-time MBA graduates from the Class of 2025 who demonstrate exceptional professional and academic achievements.
The selection process involved nominations from 82 top graduate business schools worldwide, with candidates evaluated on extracurricular involvement, professional accomplishments, insightful responses, and faculty recommendations. The resulting list reveals a notably diverse group of emerging business leaders.
This year's cohort is characterized by significant gender and international representation, with women comprising 60% of the honorees and 54 students hailing from outside the United States. The selected MBAs represent remarkable career transitions and entrepreneurial spirit, including individuals like Simi Shah from Wharton, who has been invited to the White House twice, and Amanda Golden from Darden, who transitioned from political journalism to venture capitalism.
The Boston Consulting Group emerged as the top employer, hiring eight Best & Brightest MBAs from the Class of 2025. According to Jeff Schmitt, Poets&Quants' senior writer, these students distinguished themselves by creating new ventures, launching clubs, and generating opportunities for others rather than maintaining existing structures.
The feature is part of a broader series recognizing top business students, with upcoming recognitions planned for Executive and Online MBA programs. Each selected MBA will receive an in-depth profile exploring their achievements, perspectives, and professional journeys.
