Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) has completed its 2026 field exploration program at the Cameron Rare Earth Element Project in British Columbia, collecting 250 rock-chip, soil and stream-sediment samples that are now undergoing laboratory analysis at AGAT Laboratories. The company announced the milestone as part of its broader push to advance rare earth assets in North America.

The assay results are expected to help determine whether previously identified rare-earth anomalies and geological observations warrant follow-up exploration. Earlier Cameron soil samples returned total rare earth oxide (TREO) values ranging from approximately 135 to 2,840 parts per million, providing a baseline for the current work. The latest sampling program is designed to test and expand upon those early indications.

The Cameron project is part of Powermax’s rare-earth portfolio spanning British Columbia, Ontario and Wyoming. Exploration is also advancing at its Atikokan, Pinard and Hopkins properties. The company holds an option to acquire the Cameron REE Property, which comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia. It also has options to acquire the Atikokan REE Property and Pinard REE Property in northwestern Ontario, and owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming.

The completion of the sampling phase marks a critical step for Powermax as it seeks to define drill targets. With rare earth elements increasingly viewed as strategic resources, positive assay results could enhance the company’s prospects and contribute to supply chain diversification efforts outside of China. The market will be watching for AGAT’s findings in the coming months.
