The University has consistently focused on advancing human health, patient care, and societal well-being through innovative research, particularly in interdisciplinary and patient-centred fields. This latest development underscores its commitment to addressing both regional and global health challenges.

RCSI Bahrain recently signed an agreement with Nass Corporation to commence the ambitious construction project. The expansion will include a state-of-the-art academic building, adding 7,912 sqm of space. The design prioritizes sustainability, incorporating low-carbon transportation options like bike racks and EV charging stations. Additionally, energy-efficient features such as solar panels, LED lighting, and water conservation systems will be integrated. Native plants and green spaces will be used to reduce heat, creating an environmentally friendly campus.

Professor Sameer Otoom, President of RCSI Bahrain, emphasized the significance of this milestone, noting the University's diverse network of over 3,000 alumni from 56 nationalities, including 459 doctors and 1,321 nurses.
