Rendezvous Media Ventures Sponsors Cinema Center at Sundance Film Festival

Roxstar Entertainment's annual Cinema Center will return to Park City, Utah, with a new title sponsor for the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Rendezvous Media Ventures, a recently established hedge fund, will rebrand the event as the "Rendezvous Cinema Center," providing a strategic networking platform for independent filmmakers.

Led by Michael Perrone, Craig Matus, and Slater Wayne, Rendezvous Media Ventures utilizes a proprietary algorithm to connect filmmakers with potential financing and distribution opportunities. The hedge fund brings a sophisticated approach to entertainment financing, leveraging technology to identify and support promising film projects.

The Cinema Center will be located at Loma Park City on Main Street, hosting film premieres, directors, producers, and actors over a three-day period. Sponsors including Collider, Sommsation, Hendrick's Gin, and neaū water will provide a comprehensive hospitality experience featuring curated cocktails, wine tastings, and high-altitude hydration.

Collider will operate an Annual Interview Studio, generating additional media exposure for filmmakers through interviews with top talent. The event aims to not only support the filmmaker community but also raise awareness about community challenges, with CEO David Manning highlighting potential relief efforts for Los Angeles residents affected by recent fires.
