SOUL-ED School Tour Introduces Mindfulness and Conscious Education to Philippine Classrooms

The SOUL-ED School Tour has officially launched in the Philippines, marking a significant shift towards incorporating mindfulness and conscious education into the academic lives of students. Spearheaded by The Lighthouse Foundation, this initiative seeks to address the growing mental health challenges among students by blending scientific knowledge with spiritual wisdom.

Through interactive sessions, guided meditations, and lessons on emotional intelligence, the program focuses on five core pillars of awareness: actions, words, thoughts, emotions, and intentions. Leshara Maniego, founder of The Lighthouse Foundation, emphasizes the program's goal to empower students to overcome anxiety and stress by understanding the connection between their inner and outer worlds.

The tour, facilitated by trained experts, is based on neuroscience and spiritual development principles, aiming to shift students from a victim to a creator mindset. Participating schools will be recognized as 'Pioneer Schools for Higher Learning Education,' highlighting their commitment to fostering a conscious and future-ready generation.

With pilot schools across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, the SOUL-ED movement is poised for rapid expansion, inviting partnerships from both public and private institutions.
