Standard Uranium to Launch New Drilling Campaign at Sun Dog Project

Standard Uranium Ltd (TSX-V:STND, OTCQB:STTDF) has announced an ambitious new drilling campaign at its Sun Dog Uranium Project, located in the northwestern region of Saskatchewan. The company’s vice president of exploration, Sean Hillacre, shared these exciting developments with Steve Darling from Proactive.

The drilling campaign is scheduled to commence in the coming week and is meticulously designed to test high-priority targets. The primary objective is to discover high-grade, basement-hosted uranium mineralization along well-defined structural corridors.

Hillacre highlighted several promising drill targets that have been prioritized based on recent prospecting results. These targets were identified through the prospecting of conductive rock trends, as revealed by the advanced VTEM™ Plus airborne survey.

The designated targets aim to explore conductive corridors characterized by newly discovered radioactive graphitic fault zones, which are visible at the surface. This innovative approach underscores the project's potential for significant uranium discoveries.

The anticipated drilling program will involve approximately 1,000 to 1,200 meters of drilling, distributed across 5 to 7 drill holes. This comprehensive plan is designed to be highly results-driven, with continuous modifications and adjustments based on ongoing results and geological interpretations.

The goal of this campaign is to optimize the exploration process and enhance the likelihood of a significant uranium discovery. The structured approach and advanced technology employed in this project are expected to yield promising results, making it a noteworthy development in the uranium exploration sector.
