Survale, a leader in candidate experience management solutions, has acquired the CandE Candidate Experience Research and Awards Program from ERE Media. The acquisition, completed earlier this month, brings significant strategic advantages to the company and promises enhanced insights for talent acquisition professionals.
The deal includes the transfer of all CandE program assets and the addition of Kevin Grossman as Vice President of CandE Benchmark Research. Survale, which has powered the CandE program's technology platform since 2017, will continue to service existing program participants and expand its research capabilities.
The acquisition provides critical value by expanding Survale's candidate experience benchmark database and offering more comprehensive insights into recruiting outcomes. Current research demonstrates the profound impact of candidate experience, with high-performing organizations seeing up to 60% of candidates willing to reapply and 55% more likely to refer others.
Jason Moreau, Survale's CEO, emphasized the strategic importance of the acquisition, noting it will enhance the company's benchmark data and provide access to a valuable network of talent acquisition leaders. The integration promises a more streamlined research process and potential for innovative new features.
The move comes at a critical time when candidate experience directly influences employer branding and recruiting success. Poor candidate experiences can lead to significant negative consequences, with 66% of candidates potentially sharing negative feedback and 34% posting publicly on professional platforms.
By combining Survale's real-time feedback technology with the CandE program's established research framework, organizations can now more effectively measure, analyze, and improve their recruiting processes and candidate interactions.
