The Harvest Table, a South African wellness brand known for its clean-label collagen and whole-food nutrition products, is making inroads into the U.S. market following the launch of its product line on Amazon. Founders Catherine Clark and CEO Sam Clark were recently featured in a Q&A interview published by Citybiz, a digital business news platform, where they discussed the company’s growth, product philosophy, and expansion strategy.
In the interview, Catherine Clark revealed that her personal health journey after a Hodgkin’s Lymphoma diagnosis inspired the creation of The Harvest Table. “After my diagnosis with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, I had to rethink everything about how I approached my health and nutrition,” she said. This experience shaped the company’s focus on simple, transparent nutrition without added fillers, preservatives, artificial flavors, or dyes.
The company’s in-house manufacturing model sets it apart in the competitive U.S. wellness market. “We’ve been very intentional about building the business around quality and control,” said Sam Clark. “That’s why we manufacture in-house and oversee every part of the process.” This approach ensures that all products meet strict clean-label standards.
The Harvest Table launched its U.S. storefront on Amazon with four products: Multi Collagen Radiance, Multi Collagen Granules, Bovine Collagen Granules, and Vegan Protein, all in pouch sizes ranging from 12.35 oz to 19.40 oz. The founders noted early positive response from American consumers and are planning additional retail channels.
