Miami-based luxury watch retailer TIMELUXE is evaluating plans to open a second showroom, capping a year in which the company won a national retail award, received prominent trade press coverage and expanded its profile among collectors in South Florida and beyond.
The company's rise began when it was named to the WatchPro USA Top 10 New Watch Stores shortlist for 2026, a recognition that placed it among the country's most closely watched new retail concepts. TIMELUXE subsequently won the WatchPro USA Best New Store Award for 2026, a result the company attributes to its curated inventory, immersive customer engagement and showroom design.
The win was followed by a feature in the September issue of WatchPro Magazine, which examined how the showroom curates rare timepieces and builds a community of watch collectors across South Florida.
The significance extends beyond a single retailer's trophy case. Independent watch retail has become a competitive segment of the luxury market, with collectors seeking specialist expertise, access to rare references and personalized service that mass-market jewelers often do not provide. An award of this kind can function as a credibility marker for a young business, particularly one courting international clients who may research retailers remotely before traveling to buy.
That credibility is now feeding into expansion. As reported in WatchPro, Miami's TIMELUXE is considering a second showroom location to meet growing demand from domestic and international clients. The proposed site would build on the framework of the existing store while adding expanded private lounge spaces, exclusive brand partnerships and enhanced VIP concierge services.
For the wider industry, the move underscores Miami's position as a gateway market for luxury watch sales, drawing buyers from Latin America, Europe and elsewhere. A second location would intensify competition for scarce inventory and for relationships with independent watchmakers, whose limited production appeals to collectors but constrains how much stock a retailer can offer.
For consumers, the practical effect could be more appointment capacity, more private viewing space and broader access to brands that rarely appear in multi-brand settings. TIMELUXE's existing model relies heavily on scheduled consultations, and the company directs clients to book visits through its flagship Miami showroom.
The company has not disclosed a timeline, site or investment figure for the proposed second showroom. Any expansion would test whether the formula that earned national recognition in 2026 can be replicated without diluting the intimate service model that judges and collectors rewarded.
