Tom Schaeffer's Camping & Travel Center has published November pricing on selected new 2026 recreational vehicles alongside its used motorhomes for sale in PA, offering shoppers an unusually direct comparison between new and pre-owned inventory at a single dealership. The Shoemakersville, Pennsylvania, retailer lists the promotion on its website under the heading "Pre-Winter Deals are Heating Up."

The advertised reductions on new units are substantial. A 2026 Thor Motor Coach Indigo GG35 is listed at $155,993 against a displayed list price of $248,163, a difference of $92,170. The 2026 Thor Motor Coach ACE 32B is advertised at $134,999 compared with a displayed list price of $206,163, a difference of $71,164. A 2026 Thor Motor Coach Hurricane 35G is listed at $157,969 against a displayed list price of $238,643, a difference of $80,674.

The Indigo GG35 measures 37 feet, sleeps seven and includes two slide-outs. The ACE 32B measures 33 feet, sleeps eight and includes one slide-out. Both feature 7.3-liter V8 engines rated at 335 horsepower. The dealership states that freight, preparation and documentation fees are included on marked listings, while taxes, registration and delivery fees may be additional. Buyers are advised to confirm current prices, availability and offer terms for their specific stock number before purchasing.

The pre-owned side of the promotion is narrower but still notable. A 2024 Thor Motor Coach Hurricane 35M, Stock #16812V, is advertised at $139,989 against a displayed price of $144,995, a difference of $5,006. That 37-foot Class A motorhome sleeps seven, includes two slide-outs, carries a 7.3-liter V8 rated at 335 horsepower and shows 4,369 recorded miles. A second 2024 Hurricane 35M, Stock #16602A, is listed at $149,995 with 9,189 recorded miles, giving shoppers a same-model comparison on mileage and price.

Why the pricing matters extends beyond the showroom. Mark Bodnar, general manager at Tom Schaeffer's Camping & Travel Center, said specifications alone should not drive a decision. "Specifications such as length, sleeping capacity, and mileage help narrow the choices, but buyers should also review maintenance records and test major systems before selecting a used motorhome," he said.

Shoppers researching used RV sales in PA are urged to weigh maintenance records, roof seals, tires, appliances, plumbing and generator condition, and an independent inspection may surface repairs that affect ownership costs. Length affects campsite selection and storage, while sleeping capacity should be checked against available seat belts.

Ownership expenses beyond the sticker price also matter. Insurance, registration, fuel, storage and routine maintenance shape the total budget, and campground length restrictions can rule out larger coaches. Tom Schaeffer's, a family-owned Tom Schaeffer's RV Superstore with more than 65 years of history in southeastern Pennsylvania, operates a 15-acre site along Route 61 with 22 service bays, a parts department and a paint booth. For buyers, the November numbers offer a rare side-by-side look at how steep new-unit discounts compare with the smaller savings and immediate depreciation already baked into late-model used coaches.
