Trollinger Law LLC has announced the recipients of its 2025 Hometown Heroes Awards, celebrating the contributions of first responders in Southern Maryland. This year's honorees include Retired Sgt. Retired Sgt. Gus Proctor, with a 30-year career in law enforcement, has significantly impacted the community through his work with the Special Olympics Maryland and various local organizations. Lt. Carl Schinner, with nearly four decades in law enforcement, has led initiatives aimed at enhancing public safety and inclusive policing.

The winners will be honored at DC United games and during Trollinger Law's First Responders Night at the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs game on September 13.
