Cyndie Shaffstall, co-founder and COO of Trust Moments, is developing her 21st book, provisionally titled 100 Leadership Perspectives on AI in Real Estate, set for publication after the NAR NXT conference. The project aims to create a snapshot of AI development as it transforms the real estate industry, featuring interviews with dozens of industry leaders. Trust Moments has already contacted more than 200 industry leaders, with additional interviews scheduled at NAR NXT from November 6–8 in New Orleans.

The ebook follows Shaffstall's October release, Case study: How we built an AI-powered relationship and referral engine (and the things I wish I knew then), which chronicled her team's experiments and missteps in building an AI-driven client experience platform without a traditional engineering background. The new book expands on that theme by gathering diverse perspectives on how AI is being used to empower humans rather than replace them.

"We are so energized by the way professionals in the real estate field are innovating the use of AI around their own workflows, creating solutions that empower humans," Shaffstall said. "We are reaching out to leaders all over the industry to create a comprehensive picture of where AI is now, where people want it to develop, and how it can make our work better than ever."

The initiative comes as AI adoption accelerates across real estate, from property valuation to client relationship management. Trust Moments, a privacy-first, AI-assisted relationship and referral platform, offers a new level of buyer information, helping agents surface useful behavioral data that can paint a more complete picture of the homes buyers dream of and how to match the right buyer with the perfect home. By documenting leadership perspectives, the ebook may serve as a benchmark for industry professionals navigating AI's rapid evolution.

Shaffstall and the founding team will be onsite at NAR NXT to conduct interviews and capture more industry perspectives. "To industry leaders attending NAR NXT, please stop by and share your successes and experiences with AI – together we make a stronger, more tech-forward industry," she said. The project underscores the growing importance of AI in shaping real estate practices and offers readers insights into both current applications and future directions.
