United Franchise Group™ (UFG) has announced the addition of Black Optix Tint®, a rapidly expanding franchise specializing in premium auto styling and window tinting services, to its Starpoint Brands division. This move diversifies UFG's portfolio, which already includes Signarama and Fully Promoted, by entering the auto styling market.
Founded in 2014 by Randal Moore in Richmond, Virginia, Black Optix Tint quickly rose to become the leading auto tinting company in the area. With the assistance of Accurate Franchise, Inc. (AFI), a UFG affiliated company, Moore expanded the business into a multimillion-dollar franchise. Today, Black Optix Tint operates 27 franchises across 52 territories in several states, offering services like vehicle wraps, paint protection film, and ceramic coating.
Moore expressed enthusiasm about joining UFG, citing the group's extensive resources and understanding of the entrepreneurial journey as key factors in the decision. The partnership began in 2023 when AFI introduced Moore to UFG Founder and CEO Ray Titus, who was impressed by Black Optix Tint's business model and growth.
Titus highlighted the franchise's commitment to quality and community as reasons for the acquisition, noting its alignment with UFG's ethos of delivering exceptional products and customer service. This acquisition not only introduces a new service offering to UFG's ecosystem but also strengthens its position in the franchising industry.
