Verizon to Drop 2,500 Free FIFA World Cup 2026 Tickets on June 1

NEW YORK — Verizon, the Official Telecommunication Services Sponsor for FIFA World Cup 2026™, today announced its largest free ticket giveaway for the tournament, offering over 2,500 free tickets across all 64 matches in every U.S. host city. The last chance ticket drop will occur on June 1 at 3:00 PM ET / 2:00 PM CT / 12:00 PM PT, available on a first-come, first-served basis exclusively through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app.

To mark the announcement, Verizon debuted a new commercial featuring David Beckham, highlighting how Verizon provides "Ultimate Access" to the tournament. "At Verizon, we’re obsessed with giving our customers access and experiences that are above and beyond," said Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer, Verizon. "This is our biggest FIFA World Cup ticket drop yet for the most highly anticipated sporting event."

The ticket drop includes hundreds of "Golden Tickets" for pitchside access. Travel and accommodation are not included, so the giveaway is optimized for customers to win tickets to games within 150 miles of their home address. Tickets will be available for matches in all 11 U.S. host cities, including Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, Boston, Atlanta, New York/New Jersey, Miami, and Philadelphia.

Verizon is also enhancing the viewing experience for customers who cannot attend in person. Beginning today, new Verizon Home Internet customers can get 3 months of FOX One on us. For existing customers, Verizon myPlan users can add FOX One as a monthly perk for $15/month, saving nearly $5 off the standard retail price. FOX One provides live and on-demand content of sports, news, and entertainment.

Behind the scenes, Verizon is powering the tournament with advanced 5G and fiber technology, delivering connectivity upgrades across all host stadiums and Fan Festivals. The company is building the digital backbone of the event to elevate the fan experience. More details on these efforts are available here.

This ticket drop represents the final major opportunity for Verizon customers to secure free seats to the world’s biggest sporting event, which kicks off later this year. With over 2,500 tickets available, the giveaway underscores Verizon's commitment to offering exclusive access to its customers.
