Vizsla Silver Awards Key Contracts for Panuco Project, Shares Surge Over 60%

Vizsla Silver Corp. (TSX: VZLA) (NYSE: VZLA) (Frankfurt: 0G3) has taken a significant step forward in developing its Panuco silver-gold project in Sinaloa, Mexico, by awarding key contracts for engineering and mine design. The company selected M3 Engineering for engineering, procurement and construction management services, and Mining Plus for mine design and development work tied to the project's pre-production phase, according to reporting by Abdul Rahman for Insider Monkey.

These appointments mark another milestone in advancing the Panuco project, which a November 2025 feasibility study projected could produce an average of 17.4 million ounces of silver equivalent annually over at least nine years. The study outlined an after-tax net present value (NPV) of US$1.8 billion at a 5% discount rate, a 111% internal rate of return (IRR), and a seven-month payback period, based on silver and gold prices of US$35.50 per ounce and US$3,100 per ounce, respectively.

Shares of Vizsla Silver have climbed more than 60% over the past year as investors continue to monitor progress at the high-grade asset. The company is concurrently advancing mine development and district-scale exploration with the objective of becoming a leading primary silver producer.

Vizsla Silver is a Canadian development company that owns 100% of the Panuco project. The recent contractor awards signal that the project is moving toward the production phase, which could have significant implications for the silver market. With strong projected economics, Panuco is poised to become a major source of silver and gold, potentially impacting global supply dynamics.
