WPG Homebuyers Reveal Key Motivations and Satisfaction with Builder's Quality and Service

New-home buyers are driven by a variety of motivations, from needing more space to seeking a better location or lifestyle, according to recent testimonials from purchasers of Woodbridge Pacific Group (WPG) homes. The builder, known for its high-quality construction and customer service, has compiled insights from buyers across its communities in California and Idaho, shedding light on what transforms a shopper into a buyer.

For many, the decision to buy a new home stems from practical needs. A Bakersfield family cited growing children as the impetus for seeking more space. "We decided to stop talking about a new home and start looking for something in our price range," they said. After researching builders and touring WPG's model homes, they found "everything we wanted in a home, neighborhood and community."

Empty nesters downsizing from Rancho Santa Fe to La Quinta sought less traffic and more sun. They discovered WPG's Monterra community, which offered the spaces they needed for daily living and entertaining guests. "It's the house people like us are looking for today," the wife said. "It has a fresh, clean-lined look and really great guest spaces." Her husband added, "We have lived in Connecticut, Miami, Boston, Texas, Colorado and more, and this is the best move we've made."

Quality and builder commitment were recurring themes. A couple who built four custom homes found Monterra's architectural detail surpassed their previous experiences. In Idaho, a buyer praised the cleanliness of the build site and the company's responsiveness. "WPG explained everything about our new home, and the customer service rep had all the information we needed," they said. "WPG's pride and commitment to making things right is outstanding."

Another Idaho couple, after 38 years in their family home, sought a single-story residence near their children. They discovered Bald Eagle Point through a website and were impressed by the half-acre property and beautiful area. Despite not having a built home, they made the leap after their agent's research and site visits. "Our agent did a lot of research, and WPG got good marks," they said.

Personalization options also influenced buyers. WPG's Design Center allows choices in cabinetry, floor coverings, and lighting. A couple said, "We loved the choices we had, and the help we received." Amenities like parks, pools, and community centers added appeal. At Bald Eagle Point, the Perch offers a pool, pickleball court, and fire pits. In Belcourt, the club features a resort-style pool and fitness center.

Financing assistance from U.S. Bank, WPG's preferred lender, eased the process for many. Jeff Weirsma and his team helped buyers understand their options. "Jeff Wiersma of U.S. Bank and his team were terrific, every step of the way," said a Nova buyer. Another noted, "They explained each step, told us what to do and what not to do, and all went as smooth as silk."

WPG's customer service extended beyond closing. A buyer said, "The customer service was spectacular through move-in and the few small fixes I needed. They said they would take care of everything within 30 days of closing—and actually did it."

WPG is a privately held developer/homebuilder with numerous awards for design and planning. For more information, visit www.woodbridgepacific.com.
