Zonte Metals Discovers Promising Large Gravity Anomaly at Cross Hills Copper Project

Zonte Metals has discovered a substantial gravity anomaly at its Cross Hills Copper Project in Newfoundland and Labrador, signaling potential for significant copper mineralization. The newly identified anomaly measures up to 3,700 meters in length, 3,100 meters in width, and extends to a depth of 900 meters.

The gravity anomaly is positioned within a complex structural zone that may have provided critical pathways for mineralizing fluids. Located near previous copper-bearing drill holes, the discovery highlights the region's potential for copper deposits. Preliminary surface investigations have already identified copper in rocks and soil samples surrounding the anomaly.

The company's exploration team conducted a ground gravity survey covering 4.8 by 4.5 kilometers, revealing a strong 5 mGal anomaly that remains open to the south. Three-dimensional inversion processing of the gravity data identified two distinct target areas: a northern zone within a structural area and a southern zone near previous copper discoveries.

CEO Terry Christopher emphasized the significance of this discovery, noting its position at a flexure in the Cross Hills fault system and its potential for mineralization. The company plans to conduct additional sampling and mapping to further evaluate the target area's potential.

This discovery represents a promising development for Zonte Metals, potentially expanding the understanding of copper mineralization in the region and providing new exploration opportunities.
