Software company eQuorum has released Version 12.2 of its engineering document management solutions, introducing advanced features designed to streamline workflow processes and enhance data management for engineering, construction, and manufacturing sectors.
The new version of ImageSite® and EngineBox™ platforms introduces several key technological improvements, including Data List Management functionality that allows teams to create customized project-specific lists and centralize critical information. Users can now generate master document lists, vendor requirement documentation, and transmittals with greater efficiency.
A standout feature of Version 12.2 is its QR Code Data Linking capability, enabling users to tag equipment and infrastructure with scannable codes that provide instant access to relevant documents and data across mobile devices. This innovation eliminates the need for specialized mobile applications, simplifying information retrieval.
The update also enhances document control through improved workflow management, including parallel workflow creation, step actions, and SQL filtering. A new Document Information Pane provides comprehensive visibility into document details, markups, and approval statuses, potentially reducing review times and improving collaboration.
CEO Scott Brandt highlighted the platform's focus on automation and efficiency, noting that the new features address critical customer needs in workflow management and document approval processes. The upgrades support industries including manufacturing, facilities management, utilities, energy, and architecture and engineering.
Version 12.2 will be available in February 2025, representing a significant advancement in engineering document management technology.
