KidzCare Pediatrics announced that Dr. Erika Pritchett, MD, a board-eligible pediatrician, will join their Wilmington office beginning September 17th. Dr. Pritchett will see patients five days a week, Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., bringing significant experience in both clinical pediatrics and global health leadership.
Dr. Pritchett completed her pediatric residency at Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, after earning her Doctor of Medicine and Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. Most recently, she served as Chief Medical Officer for the Baret Scholars Program (International), where she oversaw global health risk systems, coordinated emergency protocols, and supported fellows across six continents.
Her addition is particularly significant for Wilmington families seeking care that reflects the community's diversity. As a Black physician, Dr. Pritchett's presence strengthens KidzCare's commitment to providing accessible, family-centered medicine in an environment where every family feels represented and supported.
