Florida Boy Burger Co., a fast-casual restaurant chain celebrating Old Florida culture, is set to expand its footprint with four new locations across the state. The company will open restaurants in Orlando, Jacksonville, Naples, and North Port, bringing its distinctive dining concept to a broader audience.
The expansion represents a significant milestone for the Gulf Coast-based restaurant, which has gained popularity for its immersive Florida-themed atmosphere and locally sourced menu. Each new 2,800-square-foot restaurant will feature unique design elements like reclaimed cypress bars, antique postcards, and a 500-gallon freshwater tank housing live baby alligators, creating an educational and engaging dining environment.
Co-founder Roger Lolly emphasized the company's commitment to showcasing Florida's culinary heritage through its menu, which features 100 percent chuck-and-brisket patties with region-inspired toppings like Key lime aioli and citrus-maple bacon. The expansion includes a new supply agreement with Panhandle cattle ranchers, enabling the restaurant to serve fully Florida-raised beef by late 2025.
The growth plan has significant economic implications, with each restaurant representing a $1.6 million investment and creating 35 to 40 jobs. Beyond economic impact, the company remains dedicated to environmental stewardship through its 'Burgers for the Bay' initiative, which supports Everglades restoration and hosts monthly waterway clean-ups.
While currently focused on Florida, management is exploring potential strategic partnerships and franchise opportunities that could expand the brand into neighboring Southeastern markets in 2026, signaling potential future growth for this innovative restaurant concept.
