Global Vision Technologies (GVT) has announced that it has met the criteria to achieve TX-RAMP Level 2 Certification. The Texas Risk and Authorization Management Program (TX-RAMP) was initiated after the passage of Texas Senate Bill 475. It mandates the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) to create a standardized approach for the security assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring of cloud computing services that process the data of state agencies, including higher education institutions and public colleges.
The FAMCare platform, GVT's proprietary case management solution, includes multiple built-in security controls to ensure data remains secure and private. "Data security is always a top priority for GVT, and this achievement, along with GVT's SOC II TYPE 2 certification and our long-standing HIPAA compliance, demonstrates our commitment to information protection," stated George Ritacco, VP of Client Services.
GVT collaborates with agencies that manage data for critical populations such as juvenile justice, child welfare, long-term elderly care, and patient healthcare information. The FAMCare software solution is developed on GVT's proprietary platform, Visions Server, which facilitates rapid form and workflow development while mitigating risks associated with building systems from scratch.
FAMCare is also SOC II Type 2 certified and HIPAA compliant, further solidifying its position as a secure and reliable tool for health and human services agencies. For more information about GVT, visit www.globalvisiontech.com.
