STTGDC's acquisition by a KKR-led consortium and Singtel is complete, with a refreshed brand signaling a new phase of growth focused on AI-ready infrastructure.

STTGDC announced the completion of its acquisition by a consortium led by global investment firm KKR and Singtel, marking a pivotal moment in the company's evolution. The new owners bring long-term capital, increased financial flexibility, and global infrastructure expertise, which will enable STTGDC to scale its AI-ready digital infrastructure and continue its growth momentum. Customers will see continuity, as the same leadership team and operational discipline remain in place.

The company also unveiled a refreshed global brand, retaining the STTGDC name but introducing the tagline "Built Ready," reflecting its commitment to delivering reliable, resilient, and AI-ready infrastructure across Asia, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Bruno Lopez, President and Group CEO, emphasized that this is the most important turning point since the company's founding over 12 years ago. He stated, "With the KKR-Singtel consortium's investment, we have greater capacity to grow and execute at scale while remaining true to the values and customer commitment that have defined STTGDC from its inception."

STTGDC enters this new chapter with strong operating momentum. Since the end of 2025, operational capacity has increased by 25% to 780MW, contracted capacity has grown by 50%, and annualized EBITDA has risen by 30%. This growth is driven by continued demand from hyperscalers, cloud service providers, AI customers, and enterprises. The company has secured close to 2GW of powered land for assets under construction and pipeline development, positioning it well to convert customer demand into delivered capacity.

The data centre industry faces challenges in scaling due to the increasing density and complexity of AI workloads. STTGDC's strategy focuses on markets with favorable conditions, including power availability, infrastructure readiness, and policy alignment. In India, the company operates 34 data centres across 10 cities with over 613MW of IT capacity. In Indonesia, it is expanding its Jakarta campus with a development pipeline exceeding 360MW of AI-ready capacity. Singapore remains strategically important, and STTGDC has been selected to develop 50MW of sustainable, AI-ready capacity there, supporting the nation's digital infrastructure goals.

Responsible growth is integral to STTGDC's operations. The company sources 83.2% of its electricity from renewable energy, surpassing its 2028 carbon intensity reduction target three years ahead of schedule. It works closely with governments, customers, and communities to maintain its social license to operate. This acquisition and rebranding signal a new era for STTGDC as it strengthens its position as a global digital infrastructure platform, ready to support the next generation of cloud and AI growth.
