Lowe Group, one of the investment industry's top 20 financial PR and digital marketing agencies, announced on October 13, 2026, that Stacy Vogel Davis has joined the firm as Media & Client Services Director. The move brings more than 20 years of journalism and communications experience to a firm that serves asset managers, ETF sponsors, wealth managers, and other financial services providers.
Davis spent nearly a decade in newsrooms, most notably at the Milwaukee Business Journal, where she covered banking, small business, technology, retail, restaurants, and tourism. She wrote the paper's Table Talk column and blog and appeared as a business news commentator on Fox 6-WITI TV, 620 WTMJ Radio, and WUWM's Lake Effect. As associate editor, she oversaw the publication's Forty Under 40, Women of Influence, Real Estate Awards, and Central City Business Awards sections. She began her career as a reporter at The Janesville Gazette, covering local government, schools, business, and Rock County, after internships at the Kenosha News and the Daily Herald. She has also written as a freelancer for the Milwaukee Business Journal and BizTimes Milwaukee.
Most recently, Davis served as communications director for The Water Council, a global nonprofit advancing water innovation and stewardship. There, she built relationships with national, trade, and local media and secured coverage in outlets including Forbes. She also more than doubled the organization's LinkedIn following and led branding and launch strategy for a water stewardship verification program. Previously, she led public relations and publications for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, where she provided communications leadership for the launch of a $25 million capital campaign.
Jody Lowe, president and founder of Lowe Group, said, "Stacy spent years on the other side of the pitch, covering banking and business, so she knows what makes a story worth a reporter's time and what doesn't. That newsroom instinct, combined with her in-house experience managing communications programs, is exactly what our asset management and wealth management clients need as they compete for attention in the crowded financial media. We're delighted to welcome her to the team."
Davis holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism, with a minor in Spanish, from Northwestern University.
This hire matters because financial firms face increasing difficulty capturing media attention amid a fragmented news landscape. Davis's firsthand experience as a reporter gives her unique insight into what journalists need, potentially helping Lowe Group's clients earn more meaningful coverage. Her background in nonprofit communications also demonstrates an ability to manage multifaceted campaigns and engage audiences across digital platforms.
For the financial industry, the appointment signals that specialized media expertise is becoming a competitive advantage in public relations. As asset managers and wealth managers vie for visibility, agencies that understand the newsroom's inner workings may deliver better results. For readers, this means the financial news they consume could be shaped by professionals who know how to frame complex topics clearly. Lowe Group's investment in journalistic talent reflects a broader trend of blending media and marketing to reach investors effectively.
