Noble Minerals Gears Up for 2,500-3,000 Meter Drill Program at Lucas Gold Project with $215,000 Ontario Grant

Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:NOB, FRANKFURT: NB7, OTCQB:NLPXF) is advancing its Lucas Gold Project near Timmins, Ontario, with a planned 2,500 to 3,000-meter drill program. The company announced a $215,000 grant from the Ontario Government through the Ontario Junior Exploration Program (OJEP) to support the work. A recent site visit determined that a winter road will be needed to access the project, as a stable, deep frozen base is required for heavy equipment. This infrastructure preparation adds time but ensures safe and efficient drilling.

The Lucas Gold Project is drill-ready and located approximately 30 km north of Timmins, a region famous for over 75 million ounces of gold production. It is also 20 km northeast of the Kidd Creek Mine, which is celebrating its 58th year of continuous production with more than 150 million tonnes of ore, and about 20 km east of the Crawford Nickel Resource being developed by Canada Nickel. Full industry services and infrastructure are available in Timmins, with access via paved Highway 655, and ample power and water. Noble has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with local First Nations, ensuring community engagement. For a detailed location map, see Figure 1.

In 2018, Noble completed 15 NQ diamond drill holes totaling 3,184 meters, covering approximately 650 meters of strike length along a 1,700-meter gold mineralized structure identified from 2012 and 2018 airborne electromagnetic and differential magnetic surveys. The company also located 37 historical drill-hole collars and twinned three of them. No further work has been done since 2018. The project hosts six discrete untested induced polarization (IP) anomalous trends, only one of which has been drill-tested. Gold mineralization is interpreted as structurally controlled, occurring as discrete lenses within a pyrite-plus-gold mineralized tuffaceous unit. The 2018 drill holes and mineralized trend are shown in Figure 2.

The development plan is divided into three phases. Phase 1 aims to establish gold grade and extend the mineralized strike length to approximately 1,700 meters. Phase 2 will test additional parallel IP anomalies for gold mineralization. Phase 3 involves geological modeling and an NI 43-101 resource definition. Future drilling will focus on IP Anomaly A to further define gold mineralization and test the other five undrilled anomalies. The 2018 drilling plan and mineralized zone projection are available in Figure 3, and the IP zones are shown in Figure 4.

This drill program is important because it could significantly expand known gold mineralization at Lucas and test multiple high-priority targets in a prolific mining district. Success would not only validate the project's potential but also attract further investment to the Timmins area, benefiting the local economy and supporting Ontario's mining sector. For Noble, a junior explorer, positive results could lead to a resource estimate and enhance the company's value. The project's proximity to major mines and existing infrastructure reduces development risks. The original release can be viewed on www.newmediawire.com.
