Opawica Explorations is set to showcase its recent drilling progress at the Emerging Growth Conference, revealing promising geological findings from its Bazooka Gold Project in the Abitibi Gold Belt. The company's presentation will focus on drilling results that demonstrate significant potential for mineral exploration.
During the phase two drilling program, Opawica successfully intersected the Cadillac-Larder fault multiple times, uncovering promising mineralization patterns. The drill hole OP-25-27, completed at a depth of 171 meters, provided crucial geological insights into the region's mineral composition.
Key findings include the presence of arsenopyrite and pyrite, with XRF readings indicating notable concentrations of gold, nickel, and chromium at various depths. At 118.50 meters, the most significant reading showed 190 parts per million of gold, suggesting potential economic viability for future extraction.
The Cadillac-Larder Lake fault, a major structural element in the Abitibi greenstone belt, is known for supporting numerous commercial mines. Opawica's detailed exploration confirms the region's continued geological significance and potential for mineral resources.
CEO Blake Morgan will present these findings during a 10-minute session at the conference, providing investors and analysts with a comprehensive update on the company's current drilling program and strategic exploration efforts.
