Outamation Debuts at #133 on 2026 Inc. 5000, Citing 2,291% Growth in Mortgage Automation

Outamation, a Dallas-based provider of automation and digital transformation for mortgage servicing and origination, has been named to the 2026 Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies, debuting at #133 with a three-year revenue growth of 2,291%. This marks the company's first appearance on the prestigious ranking, placing it in the top 3% of all private U.S. firms by growth.

The Inc. 5000, compiled by Inc. Magazine, ranks privately held companies based on percentage revenue growth over a three-year period, providing a data-driven snapshot of the nation's most successful independent businesses. Outamation's growth is attributed to its focus on one of the mortgage industry's most persistent challenges: automating document-heavy, highly regulated workflows without compromising accuracy or compliance.

The company's AI-powered platform, which includes Outamate™ Workflow Automation, OutamateMods™, OutamateDS™, OutamateDocs™, OutamateQMS™, and OutamateAI™, has been adopted by mortgage servicers and lenders seeking to modernize operations still reliant on decades-old manual processes. According to Sapan Bafna, Founder and CEO of Outamation, "We didn't grow by chasing easy wins. We went after the parts of mortgage servicing and origination most companies avoid, the document-heavy, heavily regulated work where getting it wrong isn't an option." Bafna emphasized that the company is "building toward a more integrated, standards-based mortgage industry," which he believes ultimately benefits homeowners.

Compliance is central to Outamation's strategy. The company is the first U.S. mortgage technology firm to achieve ISO/IEC 42001 certification, the international standard for responsible AI management systems. This certification, alongside ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II attestations, provides independent validation of Outamation's governance of AI, security, and data. As active members of industry groups such as MISMO, the Mortgage Bankers Association (MBA), and the Property Records Industry Association (PRIA), Outamation aims to advance data standards and interoperability across the industry.

Devang Kamdar, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder, highlighted the practical impact of their approach: "In mortgage, AI doesn't earn trust by promising ROI. It earns trust by delivering it, on regulated work, with an audit trail behind every decision." Kamdar noted that clients are completing loan modifications two to three times faster, a result of the company's governance and traceability features.

The Inc. 5000 recognition adds to a growing list of accolades for Outamation, including back-to-back HousingWire Tech100 Awards and the MortgagePoint Tech Excellence Award. Looking ahead, the company plans to continue investing in its product suite and go-to-market teams.
