RIA Circle™, a new wealth management peer-to-peer community, has officially launched, providing a secure and confidential environment for financial advisors to share best practices and facilitate growth. The initiative is led by Carolyn Armitage, a seasoned financial services executive, and aims to bring together registered investment advisors, hybrids, and investment advisor representatives through monthly Peer Roundtable Meetings starting in October.
Carolyn Armitage emphasized the importance of collaboration for growth, stating, "Growth takes insight and experience, and RIA Circle™ was formed as a vehicle to allow growth-minded advisors and executives to have access to shared ideas to better run their firms and serve clients." Armitage's extensive experience in the industry underpins the group's mission to foster impactful ideas among wealth management leaders.
Accepted members of RIA Circle™ will be placed in tailored groups led by facilitators known as Captains, who will guide monthly discussions using agendas and support materials created by Armitage. Trey Prescott, a Captain and Director at Advisory Services Network LLC in Atlanta, noted the high demand for such a support platform in the RIA industry, highlighting its potential to provide a competitive edge.
Beyond the monthly meetings, RIA Circle™ members will have access to a comprehensive community platform featuring an Advisor Directory, bulletin board, discussion feeds, direct messaging, and curated industry content. Members can also upload their own materials and post job listings. Additionally, 20 Strategic Collaborators will offer workshops as a value-added benefit, with four additional phases planned to enhance the community further.
To date, advisors managing $64.7 billion in assets have joined RIA Circle™, utilizing 10 different custodians and 10 independent broker-dealers. Armitage expressed enthusiasm about providing a community that equips wealth managers with the necessary tools and ideas to better serve their clients.
