Swarmer Expands European Software Contract, Expects $1.02 Million Additional Revenue

Swarmer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SWMR), a defense technology company specializing in drone autonomy software, announced an amendment to its May 2026 software licensing agreement that increases the total contract value to $3.87 million and is expected to generate an additional $1.02 million in revenue. The revised agreement involves Czech-based Progress TRW S.R.O. and Meta Bureau LLC, expanding the deployment of Swarmer's software into additional European markets.

Under the amended terms, Progress TRW will purchase $1.41 million in SkyKnight software licenses, while Meta Bureau increased its original autonomy software order from $1.38 million to $2.47 million. If all contract options are exercised by both companies, the agreement could reach a total value of $14.20 million. The licenses cover Swarmer's software platform, including its operating system, artificial intelligence, and user interface technologies.

Swarmer's technology allows one operator to intuitively control hundreds of autonomous platforms in real time. The company is not a drone manufacturer but operates at the intelligence layer, developing autonomy, coordination, and decision-making software that enables large numbers of low-cost unmanned systems to operate collectively. Swarmer's software has been validated in real-world combat operations in Ukraine since April 2024, completing more than 100,000 combat missions and generating terabytes of proprietary data that informs its machine-learning models.

The expanded European contract underscores growing demand for Swarmer's vendor-agnostic software solutions, which do not depend on any single platform or hardware lifecycle. By broadening its presence in Europe, Swarmer aims to strengthen its position in the defense technology sector, where autonomous systems are increasingly critical for modern warfare. The additional revenue from this contract could support further development and refinement of Swarmer's AI-powered autonomy software, potentially impacting the broader defense industry by accelerating the adoption of swarm coordination technologies.
