Veteran attorney Garry R. Salomon of Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C. was awarded the distinguished Gerald B. O'Connor Award by the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) at its 8th Annual Awards Dinner. The honor recognizes Salomon's significant contributions to legal advocacy and professional excellence throughout his career.
Salomon, a founding partner of his firm, has been an active NJAJ member since 1984 and was appointed to the Board of Governors in 1997. During this time, he played a critical role in combating tort reform initiatives and co-founded Litigation at Sunrise, an influential seminar at NJAJ conferences.
The Gerald B. O'Connor Award is presented to NJAJ members who demonstrate exceptional skill, creativity, and professionalism as trial attorneys. Salomon was praised by his partner Adam B. Lederman for his integrity, leadership, and commitment to doing what is right, even when unobserved.
Salomon's law firm has a significant track record, having secured over $1 billion in verdicts and settlements and helping more than 35,000 families across New Jersey and New York. The firm's reputation for excellence is underscored by having 12 attorneys certified as civil trial attorneys by the Supreme Court of New Jersey - an honor held by less than 2% of attorneys statewide.
The award highlights the importance of sustained professional dedication and the impact individual attorneys can have in advancing legal justice and advocacy.
