His research focuses on modern spectroscopic methods, including Raman spectroscopy and ellipsometry, which he applies to study superconductors, quantum materials, and biological and inorganic samples at large-scale research facilities such as PETRA III and FLASH. His interdisciplinary work has resulted in more than 180 publications with approximately 4,000 citations, with contributions to prestigious journals like Physical Review Letters, JACS, Angewandte Chemie, Nature Chemistry, Nature Physics, Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences, and Nature Communications. Additionally, he develops AI-supported analysis workflows for complex datasets, a skill that could prove valuable in interpreting the intricate data generated from cold plasma research.
