The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) are collaborating to present the largest-ever Hong Kong Tech Pavilion at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 6-9, 2026. The showcase features 61 technology companies representing a mix of early-stage and mature ventures across artificial intelligence, robotics, health technology, and sustainability sectors. This significant presence underscores Hong Kong's rapidly advancing technological ecosystem and its capacity to empower innovators to scale their solutions for global impact.
The Hong Kong Tech Pavilion will feature several CES Innovation Award-winning solutions and world-first technologies, displayed across both the Eureka Park and Global Pavilion areas. The exhibition includes companies less than five years old alongside more established ventures, highlighting the breadth of Hong Kong's innovation landscape. Three award-winning companies are particularly noteworthy: Widemount Dynamics Tech received Best of Innovation for Product in Support of Human Security for All for its Smart Firefighting Robot, designed to detect fires, navigate smoke-filled environments, provide real-time mapping, and determine optimal extinguishing agents to minimize risks to life and property.
PointFit was honored in the Digital Health category for its PF-Sweat Patch, an ultra-thin wearable featuring patented biomarkers tracking technology that offers non-invasive, continuous monitoring of vital signs and performance metrics for athletes and wellness enthusiasts. Eieling Technology also received recognition in the Digital Health category for FattaLab®, described as the world's first intelligence-driven compact fatty liver diagnostic device that delivers medical-grade assessment results in just 30 seconds, potentially enabling earlier treatment and preventive care.
The pavilion will host numerous events including product launches, briefings, and business matching conversations. Highlights include an introduction of GumAI, a smart oral healthcare solution developed by Dentomi; a demonstration of DRESIO's "AI Physiotherapy for Everyone" solution; and the launch of "wuBiee & wuBiee wrap" by moftBODY, which integrates neuroscience into smart textile daily shapewear. Visitors can access the full event schedule at https://www.newmediawire.com and register for the Hong Kong Tech Networking Reception on January 7, 2026, from 5:30-7:30 pm at Mercato Della Pescheria in The Venetian.
This showcase is important because it demonstrates Hong Kong's emergence as a significant technology hub capable of producing globally competitive innovations. The presence of 61 companies, including 47 from the HKSTP ecosystem, signals strong institutional support for technology development and commercialization. The three award-winning products address critical global challenges in public safety, healthcare accessibility, and preventive medicine, suggesting Hong Kong-based companies are developing solutions with substantial real-world impact potential.
The implications extend beyond the immediate showcase, as successful CES presentations often lead to international partnerships, investment opportunities, and market expansion. For industries ranging from healthcare to emergency services, these innovations could introduce more efficient, cost-effective solutions. For consumers and professionals worldwide, technologies like the Smart Firefighting Robot, PF-Sweat Patch, and FattaLab® represent advancements in safety, health monitoring, and diagnostic accessibility that could improve outcomes and reduce costs across multiple sectors.
