Peapack Private Bank & Trust has hired Tim Juliano as a Senior Managing Director in its commercial banking division, signaling a strategic push to grow its footprint on Long Island. Juliano brings extensive banking experience spanning 37 years, most recently serving as a senior vice president at Flagstar Bank.
In his new role, Juliano will lead a team of relationship managers and be responsible for expanding the bank's commercial presence in the Long Island market. His previous experience includes managing significant client portfolios, with past achievements including overseeing relationships representing up to $440 million in deposits and $350 million in credit commitments.
Juliano's professional background includes leadership positions at prominent financial institutions such as Dime Community Bank, Sterling National Bank, Capital One Bank, and earlier roles at Merrill Lynch and major banks including Chase Manhattan and Chemical Bank. His diverse banking experience spans business development, relationship management, and portfolio servicing.
The appointment represents a strategic move for Peapack Private Bank & Trust, which currently holds $7.1 billion in total assets and $11.8 billion in assets under management. By recruiting an experienced banking executive with deep regional knowledge, the bank aims to strengthen its competitive position in the competitive New York metropolitan banking market.
With a Bachelor of Arts in economics from SUNY Stony Brook and prior community service as a fire department captain, Juliano brings both professional expertise and local understanding to his new leadership role.
